Person playing a ukulele.

We love songs played on the ukelele because the instrument always makes the tunes sound lighter, brighter, and makes us feel like we're lounging around a beach in Maui with a margarita in hand. If you're a ukelele player looking for a fun new song to try, check out this ukelele tutorial for playing "Santeria" by Sublime.

This song is sweet and a great one to play for beginning to advanced ukelele students because it consists mostly of chord strumming.

CHORDS: (first progression, 4 counts each chord) E - 4442 G# - 5343 C#m - 6444 B - 4322 (second progression, 2 counts each chord) A - 6454 B - 8676 E - 4442 C#m - 6444 STRUM: D, u, d, u (repeat through whole song. The D is the only not played, all other strums are muted)

The next big software update for iPhone is coming sometime in April and will include a Food section in Apple News+, an easy-to-miss new Ambient Music app, Priority Notifications thanks to Apple Intelligence, and updates to apps like Mail, Photos, Podcasts, and Safari. See what else is coming to your iPhone with the iOS 18.4 update.
